Most of what BOSHAT does is run by people who have day jobs. Here is what is coming up, and how to join it.
Youth activities
Test prep, application help, and study strategy — free, and aimed squarely at first-generation students who are figuring out the process without a map.
No youth sessions are scheduled right now. New ACT prep and college application dates are usually announced a few weeks ahead — email us to be told first.

Community activities
Run with partners who already know the neighbourhoods — Shalom Salaam and the Utah Food Bank among them.
Nothing scheduled at the moment. Our drives cluster around November and December.
A winter collection of food, clothing, and household goods for refugee families and seniors across the Salt Lake Valley.
Our annual canned food collection in partnership with the Utah Food Bank, timed for the Thanksgiving distribution window.
Dinners, community nights, and matched-giving pushes that fund the scholarship and mobile clinic programs.
Volunteer
We will match you to something real rather than adding you to a list. Tutors, drivers, packers, translators, and people who are good at spreadsheets are all short.
